Took the Hen to a game at the monstrosity that is Shea.. and now she’s a Mets fan.
Epic fail
Probably the only thing good to come out of the San Diego Comic-Con since the preview of the Simpsons movie two years ago.
Seriously, begin watching this show.

In all my baseball loving years, I’ve never once caught a ball that’s ventured into the stands, whether it be via foul ball or home run.
Not that the odds are in my favor per se. But with all the games I’ve gone too, it’s been nothing but near misses. That time with Jamaal when were runts at Yankee Stadium. Not when a foul tip split the inch of space between me and Demetrius when we were teens. Not even when a Gary Sheffield launched ball incited a drunken beating in the stands of Philadelphia last year (though I’m glad I didnt end up with that ball).
Finally, today, i decided at the last minute to make it to the All-Star Home Run Derby at Yankees Stadium since I decided no matter how much I reasoned it out, 13 year old me would have been disgusted with what I’d become if i missed out. So I went.
And caught a homerun ball via Ryan Braun of the Brewers. Seriously. It finally paid off. But seriously, am I gonna miss that stadium.

So it’s been a while since I’ve made any updates to the site, but this one’s actually got some substance. I’m going in two polar opposites with my photography. Going lo-fi and DIY by investing in a Holga manual medium format camera and film scanner as well as going high end with some HDR photography by using some auto exposure bracketing on my Sony f707 (best gift ever).
Medium formats are below and include the obligitory film grain and dust. HDR is above in this awesome photo of one of the tanks of Culebra from my recent trip to Puerto Rico.

I’ve gotten a couple questions about what my desk looks like at Massive. So here it goes.
Click on THIS LINK of you want to see the annotated tags describing all the crap at my desk. Enjoy.

I’ve pretty much always got this thing attached to my right hand 90% of the time, so I guess its no surprise that it would be included in my own self portrait.

As always, the someecards.com guys say it best.
