It is upon us. The season is about to begin in a couple hours with LSU vs. Mississippi State. I’m excited, you should be soon. Michigan is opening up against 1-AA Appalachian State… blech. Considering the game is being played on the Big Ten network, I probably wont be able to see it. But oh well. Thats what Tivo is for. It will simply be an exhibition for which guy will put up the big numbers and be the UM representative on all the Heisman lists that litter all the site.
Also tonight, ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA! is going to be premiering on FX tonight at 10pm, so make sure you watch this show of pure genius. It needs the crowd that it deserves.
Oh, wanna hear something good? While out here in Seattle, they like to refer to Washington State University as “Quarterback U.” Yes, I said that. WSU as Quarterback U. Yeah… think about that one for a minute.

So for every one of my previous trips to Seattle, the Mariners were either on the road or it was the off-season. Not this time! Finally got to take in a game at Safeco and brought Hen along for it. Also managed to get my best scalper deal on seats since Madison. The only thing that made the Yankees 16-0 whoopin’ more bearable was the fact that the Mariners lost as well, so no lead was lost.
Also, once again, perfect weather once again. I am awesome when it comes to this area.
Updates will be somewhat sporadic, so be ready… or dont.

So what’s the worst thing about losing this stupid, but very crucial bit of my finger? Is it the inability to type over 4 words a minute? Nope. Is it the constant explanation of how lamely it happened? Nope. It’s the fuckin’ fact that I’ve got my copy of the Bioshock sitting on my table still in it’s shrink wrap!
I can’t battle a Big Daddy with my finger all gauzed up! And between this, the Germans, and the travel, I can’t possibly be ready to battle.
And I’ve got to listen to my friends and my work community at large run on about how amazing the game is. Meanwhile, I’m off playing Brain Age 2 and being lame.
It will be atleast a week before I am all recovered from surgery and able to get the full gametime it deserves. Oh well.

Last night I got a chance to indulge my everything with a trip to the Strip House. Always tasty, though last night’s might have been the best meal I’ve ever had there, rivaling Del Fresco’s even. *Bonus was watching Mike have some leggy blonde groupie hangin’ on him all night because she thought he was Steve Job’s son.
I also finally gave in and bought the limited edition Crimson and Black Nintendo DS this week. Although I have no clue when I’ll be able to play it this week. And no, I’m not going to be using the included (and very clutch purse looking) carrying case that came included.
Other than that, not much going on.

Saw Superbad this weekend. Pretty hilarious as expected from Judd Apetow. I could give you a review, but everyone else has gushed on it already, so I’ll pass. Missed Flight of the Conchords for it and my DVR forgot to record, so I guess I’ll see it on demand tomorrow.
Also, left part of my right hand pointer finger on Bedford Ave. It was fun and big props to the random guy who happened to have neosporin on hand for me. Karma owes you one. Now i guess i just need to figure out a way to play Bioshock with this dead digit.

After last season’s all too quick conclusion, people have been asking me about when/if Always Sunny was going to have a new season. Well FX finally announced that Season 3 begins on September 13th at 10pm.
Fuckin AWESOME!
This’ll probably be the hightlight of the upcoming TV season. Yes, above Weeds and Flight of the Conchords. There, i said it. Anyway, what makes this season different than the last two is that FX finally seems to be pushing the show by moving it up to the 10pm slot (from 10:30) and has a hilarious ad campaign that includes some of the funniest commercials you’ll ever see. They’ve even released a full episode on MySpace this week which you can watch HERE.
